"Quotation Submitted LATE" Late Stamp on Submitted Quotation. Will I be able to participate further?
Quotation Submitted LATE stamp appears when you have delayed the Quotation Submission to the buyer. Although your buyer has not restricted you from submitting the quote. The same stamp will also appear on the buyer screen that you have submitted the quotation late.
When does it happen? When you as a participating seller miss submitting the quote within the Quotation Freeze Time. See the image below. Quotation Freeze Time is highlighted in the red box.
Can I deny the Buyer? No, you can not deny the buyer because a time is stamped when you submit a quote in the PRM360. The same is visible on your side and buyer's side.
How does it affect your participation? PRM360 is just a P2P tool that helps buyers and participating sellers to come on the Internet and close a bid. In the case of "Quotation Submitted LATE", the ownership and decision-making are with the buyer. So, you can connect with the buyer and investigate further regarding your participation!
How can I avoid this in future? When you receive the Requirement eMail from the buyer make sure you check it properly. Once you open the eMail and scroll to the bottom you will find Quotation Reminder (see the below image). This can be downloaded and added to your calendar.
